On Saturday, August 30, 2008 in Monroe Park local Pagan groups invited the public to join them in Ogden's first Pagan Pride Day celebration. Designed to educate people about modern Paganism, the first festival focused upon the late-summer harvest season. Featured were rituals that celebrated the annual solar cycle – stirrings, growth, gathering, and repose.
A food drive was also held, for sharing the bounty of harvest with those in need.
